The starting point is at the 30th kilometre of Jom Thong-Inthanon Road(The Highway No.1009). How to get there 

If you want this hiking trip, you must get to Doi Inthanon National Park first. 

Doi Inthanon is about 106 kilometres away from Chiang Mai downtown. Just follow the Highway No.108(Chiang Mai-Jom Thong) until you reach the 57th kilometre. Then, about 1 kilometre before Jom Thong County, you should turn right into the Highway No.1009(Jom Thong-Inthanon). From that point, keep going for about 48 kilometres until you reach the top of Doi Inthanon. The road is quite steep, however. Your vehicle should be in a perfect state. In fact, taking a four-wheeled will be best.

This is only about 3.8 kilometres away from Doi Inthanon. In fact, it’s in the nature-exploring path ‘Kew Mae Pan Path’. You just walk leisurely on your feet and you will get there.
