Just don’t forget to bring your own things: your tent, your pillow, your foods, your bottles of water, your blanket etc. Remember that you are in the middle of forest. How to get there 

Khun Khon Waterfall is very easy to go to. You just have to travel for only about 33 kilometres from the heart of Chiang Rai. 

You may take a minibus, which can take you from Chiang Rai to Ban Pang Rim. 

If you have a personal car, you can continue straight along the Highway No.1, in order to reach Ban Rong Kun. After reaching Ban Rong Kun, switch to the Highway No.1205. Keep going until you see a junction. Turn right at the junction, as the path leads you to Khunkon Waterfall. When you arrive at the waterfall, just park your car in a parking lot. Then you have to walk all the way up to the waterfall.

Nearby Places 

This temple is only about 19 kilometres away from the waterfall. You can go there before or after visiting the waterfall. This temple, designed by the famous artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, is something like a kind of landmark of Chiang Rai. It is very beautiful. The whole temple is covered in white color like pearl. Most tourists, especially foreign tourists, hate to miss it. They usually have to visit there before leaving Chiang Rai.
