3 Days Chiang Rai all highlights

We will pick you up in Chiang Mai, as usual, at 7:30. Today, we will start the trip by visiting Wat Chalermprakiat, or Wat Phra Bat Phu Bha Daeng, first. The specialty of the temple is its location. It’s located on the top of mountains, very beautiful and extraordinary. There are Lord Buddha statues and pagodas to pay respect to. However, you have to walk more carefully than usual, as the area is not a smooth ground.

Then, we should have lunch. After the lunch, we will head for Chae Son National Park. One of the good things there is the mineral hot spring. If you wish to have beautiful skin, you may want to soak yourself in the hot spring for some time, let the water stimulate your blood circulation. The atmosphere will also be perfect. Having a mineral water bath in the middle of mountains, imagine how nice it will be. Or, if you don’t want to have a bath, you can just walk around, take photos, or sit on the shore of Chae Son Waterfall.

Next, we will go to another national park, which is Pu Chi Fa. We will spend the whole night in Pu Chi Fa, in order to get ready for sunrise seeing in the morning.

We will see the sunrise around 5:00-6:00, depending on the season during our trip. Then we will head back to the hotel to have breakfast.

At 8:30, we will go to the White Temple, or Wat Rong Khun, to see its beauty of sparkling white-colored architectures. These are all works of the famous artist Chalermchai.

After the White Temple, we will get to the Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Suea Ten. The temple looks special due to its blue interior walls of the ubosot and many differently beautiful architectures. Let’s have a lunch break after that. We guess you must be hungry.

As soon as we finish our lunch, we will get to Black House Museum, the museum that belongs to Thawan Duchanee, another Thai famous artist. At thie museum, there are several rare art materials being displayed in minor black wooden houses.

After the museum, our next stop is Ban Ta Khao Pluak Village. We will let you to get to know Karen people and have a chance to learn about their lives and culture.

As usual, we will finish the day by having a night walk at Chiang Rai Khon Muan Street. Let’s have a leisure walking and shopping together. There are many things for you to buy there, food, souvenir, clothes, and lots more. After that, we should spend the night in Chiangrai, waiting for the last programs tomorrow.

We will pick you up at 8:00. Today, we will start with visiting Doi Tung Palace first. This was the residence of King Bhumibol’s mother. You can have a tour around or even go inside. However, photography is allowed outside only. When you get inside, you better keep your camera in its bag.

Have a lunch after that. After the lunch, we all should go to the Golden Triangle to have a sailing trip to Laos market. For your information, the Golden Triangle is the land that keeps the borders of Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. Therefore, there are many things for you to learn about. There are different cultures aroud there, but you will see impressive connections between those. You will see how people live together peacefully under their differences.

After that, we will get to Singha Park for the very last place. Spend your time by feeding animals, riding in a balloon, riding a bike, seeing agricultural areas, and taking photos with the huge golden lion statue. It’s been a good time for all of us. Now, it’s time to get you back to the hotel in Chiang Mai.
