2 Days 1 Night Tour Chiang Mai to Salawin River

We will pick you up at your shelther around 8:00-8:30. Then we all should get to Doi Inthanon National Park, a very beautiful national park full of plants, forests, and animals. There, we will stand on the highest peak of Thailand, admire the King and Queen Pagoda. We hope your camera memory card has enough storage for taking photos of this place.

After that, we will head for Wachiratarn Waterfall to let you cool yourself down. Soon we will have a lunch break together. After the lunch, we will stimulate our digestion at Theppanom Hot Spring. The water there is about 90 degree Celcius, very hot. The hot spring is small, but looks lovely and relaxing. The ponds are in the middle of trees and mountains, which are rare surroundings.

After the hot spring, we will go to Ob Luang National Park, also known as The Land of Prehistoric Human. It’s not far away from Theppanom Hot Spring. In fact, Theppanom Hot Spring is a minor tourist attraction located within the area of the national park. The national park is full of plentiful water resources, for examples, Huai Mae Tae, Huai Mae Soi, Huai Mae Luang etc. You’re gonna love the atmosphere there and want to take a lot of photos.

Lastly, we should have dinner at River House Resort, a 3-star hotel in Mae Sariang.

We will head to Mae Sam Laeb Village as soon as you finish your breakfast. Mae Sam Laeb Village is located near Salawin River. The houses there are located in the middle of mountains. The villagers consist of different nations: Shan, Karen, Muslim etc. And, as Salawin River flows between Thailand and Myanmar, the village is like a heart-gathering place of people from both countries.

Yes, of course, we will have a boat trip for about 2 hours when we reach the village. We will sail along Salawin River to see how gorgeous the two sides of countries are. Then we will have lunch.

Lastly, we will admire Wat Phra That Jom Mon, in order to pay respect to all holy architectures and see the stunning scenery of Mae Sariang County. After that, we will return to Chiang Mai, 19:00 approaximately.
