How to get there
Kum Chao Luang is located in Nai Wiang District in Muang County. Ask one of your friends, someone with sharp eyesight, quick decision, and reliable driving skill, to drive for the group. The route is not difficult to follow, but you can miss your destination if you don’t pay enough attention. Therefore, beside of a good driver, at least 1 other friend should be the one who tell the correct direction to the driver too.
First, follow the Highway No.101. Then turn left to Charoen Muang Road and continue straight for about 1.2 kilometre. Turn left at the roundabout and head for Kum Doem Road. Keep going for another 100 metres. Finally, Kum Chao Luang should be on your right side.

You will want to pay respect to the lied-down Buddha statue of this temple. The temple was renovated by Luang Pongpibul and Lady Sunanta. It contains a long-time history and lots of interesting architectures. Just about less than 1 kilometre away from Kum Chao Luang and you will arrive at it.
Ban Sao Roi Ton is only about 1.74 kilometre away from Kum Chao Luang. It’s a Thai traditional house mad of teakwood and consists of hundreds poles. There are many antiques inside waiting to be admired by you. Just go. Don’t miss a chance.
Nobody wants to miss this lovely traditional village. This village is well-known for its Mo-Hom fabric products. There are lots of shops in the village sell these. You will want to shop some, as Mo-Hom is a logo of Phrae. The village is only about 6.10 kilometres away from Kum Chao Luang.
Here is another Thai old-fashioned house. In fact, it’s Thai-European style. The whole house is covered in pink color. It was built hundreds years ago. You are allowed to get inside to see the rooms and those antiques. It’s just less than 1 kilometre away from Kum Chao Luang.
