If you have no idea where to go, let’s go to Sao Din Na Noi in Nan Province. This is an ordinary place that doesn’t have any entertaining things, but it’s a lovely natural place that will get your smile for sure.

Sao Din Na Noi, located in the west of Sri Nan National Park, is quite similar to Phae Muang Pee Forest Park in Phrae. There are stone cliffs and poles all over the place. These things originated from piles of dirt and water eroding, creating different patterns and shapes of stone. The whole area is about 32,000 square metres large.

It’s believed that these stone cliffs and poles are about 10,000-30,000 years old and used to be the bottom of the ocean before. Moreover, some ancient ormanents and weapons were discovered here. Now, that’s interesting. It can also mean that, Sao Din Na Noi was once inhabited by stone-age humans.

Let yourself to walk around the area and use your camera to capture all shots. That should make you feel so much much better. Seeing natural things around will make you stop thinking about bad things. Even you’re on your trip alone, don’t worry. Get to Sao Din Na Noi and you will have some quiet time to think about something good by yourself.

How to get there

Sao Din Na Noi is located in Chiangkhong District, Nan Province.  Let’s drive there for your convenience. If your start point is Bangkok, then pass Nakhon Sawan, Phitsanulok, and Phrae first. After that, let’s switch to the Highway 101 to reach Wiang Sa County. Then move to Chao Fah Road. From the Highway 1026, it should lead you to Na Noi County. After finding the intersection that allows you to turn left into the road 1083. That’s right. Continue straight for about 10 kilometres. Soon you will reach your destination.

The temple is only about 5.39 kilometres away. This is a small but heart-warming temple. You will want to see its glorious ubosot and stunning Naga-shaped handrails. Let’s give yourself some time to pay respect to a Lord Buddha statue.

This is a great sightseeing spot of Sri Nan National Park. It’s an empty lot on cliffs. You can even set up a tent and have a camp. Sounds interesting? Yes. Let’s spend some time with nature. Just go. It’s about 17.86 kilometres away.
