Tour Overview
Grab at hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai city 08.00 a.m. and driving to Maewang district to have a wonderful experience with a trekking tour in the lovely nature wildlife in the south part of Chiang Mai.
After we met our friendly local tour guide, we would trek on the local path for a distance of 5 km. through the rainforest – non touristic. To meet and refresh at the beautiful jungle waterfalls that you can enjoy playing in the waterfall and relaxing. Then go to visit the rice terraces field to see Karen’s agriculture lifestyle with beautiful views.
Having lunch break which made from natural elements, fresh vegetables, free of chemicals, served with Khao Doi (Local rice). After lunch, continue to the elephant park, you will take pleasure in the attractiveness of elephants feeding and bathing with elephants about an hour.
Next, we will take you on an experience on the cooling stream with bamboo rafting. The bamboo rafting route is the most popular route in Chiang Mai where be very exciting and challenging along the Maewang River.
After that, we drive back to Chiang Mai city and transfer to your accommodation around 17.00 – 17.30 p.m.
This tour was organized by the volunteer groups, the communities of Mae Sapok village and Mae Mud village of Mae Win District in Chiang Mai Province. All of expenses and income from the tours are distributed to the community and all villagers.
