Tour Overview
Pick up at hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai city 08.00 a.m. and driving to Mae Wang district to have a magnificent adventure experience with a trekking trail in the wonderful scenery wildlife in the south part of Chiangmai. Later we met our friendly native tour guide, we would hike on the local trail for a distance of 12 km. through the rainforest – non touristic. First trekking from the village along the hillside and visit the magnificent waterfall where hiding in the jungle. You can see the fishes in a falls as well. Later that, we would pass the elephant camp to feeding the elephants and enjoy to see the beauty of elephants.
Then, to discover the wonders of nature, and small critters to be seen along the way to km. 4th, the wonderful rice terraces on the top of the mountain.
We have a lunch break which be cooked by our tour guide. The food be prepared from natural ingredients, fresh vegetables, served with specially selected village rice dishes for you to taste. Continue your trip on a nature trail, passing through another magnificent waterfalls where you can swimming and relaxing here. After that, hike to a lovely viewpoint to create an unforgettable experience for you. Afterward that, we drive back to Chiang Mai town and transfer to hotel around 17.00 – 17.30 p.m.
This tour was organized by the volunteer groups, the communities of Mae Sapok village and Mae Mud village of Mae Win District in Chiang Mai Province. All of expenses and income from the tours are distributed to the community and all villagers.
