Long time ago, in the year 1978 Mr.Mang Panomprai, the first leader of the village, and his siblings evacuated from Paii County. They all set up for new lives at Ban Maew Doi A S. They had lived there for about a year before they moved to The Microwave Hmong Village instead.

The Microwave Hmong Village has nothing to do with the microwave oven that we use to heat our food up. No. The true reason is, the authorities have used the village to set up some phone signal poles. Those poles release microwave, which here means ‘an electro-magnet wave of a high frequency’. That makes perfect sense now.

It was first started by phone signal poles, but now there are television signal poles of many channels too.
