The Noble House Museum or Hong Chao Fong Kham is a large, rambling teak house in classic Northern Thai style set in a beautiful garden.

Owned by Chao Fong Kham, the descendant of Chao Anandhawararittidetch, the 62nd ruler of the town, the house is quite large, so you can take photos most everywhere. You will feel like you’re a lady or a nobleman from the past. The house is very very beautiful. It will suit your traditional costumes for sure. Take photos and walk around the house magnificently, admiring those old items.

The Noble House Museum is open daily, except for Monday and Tuesday, from 9:00-17:00.
How to get there
The Noble House Museum is located just in Muang County. Look for the Highway 101 and continue straight. Use Suriyapong Road to reach the downtown of Nan. Be careful at this point, as you must turn left to Thevarach Road before reaching Sri Muang Park. Next, just pass Phumirak Glorifying Park and get into Sumonthevarach 2 Block. Be patient. After driving for the very last 50 metres, you will reach the noble house museum.
