Wat Phra That Chae Haeng ‘An eternal value of ancient things’

Old temples are always valuable, same as Wat Phra That Chae Haeng, which was built in the year 1348 by Phaya Karnmuang.
The name may sound strange to you, as ‘chae’ means ‘soak’ and ‘haeng’ means ‘dry’.
But there’s nothing strange about this temple. Instead, it is a very beautiful temple. There is a pagoda named ‘Phra That Chae Hang’, which is a stunning golden pagoda on a square-shaped base. Inside, there is Lord Buddha’s relic. The event of the pagoda worshipping is held annually during the end of February to the start of March. You should join it for your good life fortune. How to get there
Wat Phra That Chae Haeng is located in Ban Nong Tao, Muang Teed District, Phu Piang Sub-County, Nan Province. There’s nothing difficult. Just keep driving along the Highway 1168 or Nan-Mae Chrim Road.

The museum is only about 4.72 kilometres away from the temple. It stores exhibitions that show you how lives of ethnic groups in Nan are. There are pictures, texts, and antiques.
Wat Ming Muang Temple is located a hundred meters on the right of Wat Phumin. Completely white except for its red roof tiles, it is one of the surprising monuments of Nan city. Nothing compared to White Temple Chiang Rai but it remains interesting to visit.
