The temple’s revival began in 1996 when local villagers decided to restore the ruins to create a spiritual hub for their community. With the combined efforts of the villagers and the artistic vision of Chiang Rai local, Mr. Putha Kabkaew, also known as Sala Nok, the temple transformed into a modern-day masterpiece.
