If you have been spending your holidays in Chiangrai on historic places all along, you may want a little bit new atmosphere. Because, however, there are still many other types of interesting tourist attractions in the province, all of which you should see too. Therefore let’s not stick to only one type.
If you can’t imagine where to go, then ‘Singha Park’ is your suggestion. This is the most wonderful and stunning agricultural tourist attraction in Chiang Rai. You will feel like you are in some kind of new world, as the place is so relaxing. But how much is it relaxing? Let’s find the answer from the information below.
Singha Park, or the former name ‘Boon Rawd Farm’, is owned by Singha Corporation Co.,Ltd. It is a popular place for most tourists who visit Chiang Rai. The place is billions square metres large. It has been being open for less than a decade.
This is a very beautiful place, really. Starting from the entrance, you will see a big, golden lion statue, which is infact to logo of the company, in the middle of a field. Most tourists love to take photos with this thing. You can do it too if you want.
Beside of the statue, there are still many different zones within the park, You can tour them all, in case you have enough time. In case you want a tour, just pay for 50 Baht for one person. The farm tour is available everyday, from 9:30-17:00.

- Cosmas Field&Swan Lake : Let’s take photos of lovely flowers. These flowers are all over the field. In fact, there aren’t only flowers, but also fruits and vegetables.
- Sunn Hemp and Heart Shaped Tree : You will see a bunch of beautiful yellow flowers all around you.
- Zipline Platform : If you love something exciting and challenging, then don’t forget to make a little stop at this spot. You will be able to have a new style of sightseeing, which here means being hung on a sling and sliding along it. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
- Fruit&Vegetavle Garden : Pick some fresh fruits and vegetables from their planations.
- Barn House Pizzeria(Zipline Tower) : Beside of tasting delicious foods, you will have an opportunity of going on a zipline adventure too.
- Animal Attraction : Wanna feed and take photos with these lovely animals? There are giraffes, zebras, and lots more.
- Sport&Recreation Centre : This is a souvenir shop and a bike-renting spot.
- Bhu Bhirom Restaurant : Before you leave, you may want to have a light dinner at this place.

How to get there
Singha Park is located in Mae Kon, Muang County, Chiang Rai Province.
Just keep driving along Pahonyothin Road, head for Chiang Rai downtown. Don’t forget to turn left to the road 1208 first. Then turn right at the junction 1211 for about 2 kilometres. Not so long after that, you will see your destination on the left side.
Another choice is to hire a bus to give you a ride. Just grab one in Chiang Rai downtown. This will not be difficult, as Singha Park is a famous tourist attraction. Most every buses can get you there for sure.
Nearby Places
This temple is only about 6 kilometres away from Singha Park. You will reach there within 8 minutes. Upon arriving at it, you will see how gorgeous it is. The whole temple is covered in sparkling white color. Most tourists, especially foreign tourists, love this so much. They even call it ‘The White Temple’ sometimes. The temple was designed and built by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a skilled and famous national artist of Thailand.
Only about 24 kilometres away from the park, you will see that this place consists of 36 minor houses. These houses are the storages of Thawan Duchanee’s ancient item collections. Thawan was one of the most well-known professional artist of Thailand.
